YOSHIGIRL - Sketch

Yay! I drew YG as I said I would ^-^. I actually finished drawing this and scanned it in a few days ago, and was gonna leave submitting this 'till i'd finished Photoshopping it... but since it's been several days and I haven't yet started work on it, I thought it probably best to submit now before I forget about it completely XP;.

Anyway, whee! It's good to see here again, no =3? Though, err... some obvious differences from the last time she appeared.
I'll start with the most obvious; I got rid of her foxy features. Why? Cuz they looked weird and they were a pain in the bum to draw. She may look a little plain without them now, but personally I prefer her this way.

Second thing. Looking back at my old YG pics, I couldn't help noticing how thin she was, and I checked what i'd written on the comments of the old pics (in my old account) and I seemed to be OBSESSED with keeping her thin... but, why? Yoshi's are food-loving creatures, ergo they should be FAT! So... I added some much needed pudge X3.

Final thing; no gloves, or Mole Mitts rather... well, actually, she does still wear them, but I left them off in this pic to show off one thing in particular, wrapped around her 3rd finger on her left hand. Yes, that is a wedding ring, ergo, she's a married wom-er-Yoshi!
Who's her husband? ...*Cough**cough*.
How'd it come about? Long story short, a very funny RP back in October last year XD.

Oh, and she's wearing a saddle. I can't remember if I decided not to give her a saddle cuz she doesn't seem to have it in some of the older pics, but it's back now so whatever Xd.

Other than those things, she's pretty much the same as before. A purple Yoshi with blue boots and a fang. Also one other thing I kept, which isn't noticeable. I don't know if I ever mentioned it at all before, but as well as the fox ears and the tail, YG's entire body was covered in fur, making her a kind of mammalian Yoshi. Well, I kinda still like that idea, so I kept it.
I even gave her a belly button to make that slightly apparent... or maybe I just added it cuz I thought it'd look cute; either way, I like it XD.

So there we have it, YG is back after a long hiatus. I like how she's looking too, considering I had a bit of trouble drawing the Yoshi body previously, this didn't actually give me much trouble. Compared to the gijinka of her I drew, which was just abysmal. I finished it, but I don't like the turn out, so I might just relegate it to the scraps.
I'd like to Photoshop this considering how pleased I am with the product, and that it'd be a shame to leave my purple girl so... un-purple XD. It's just a matter of finding the motivation to do it is all I suppose.
