Timidy

ZOMG! Another new character!!!

... No, actually, she's not. Those who have been paying attention to my journal lately, will know that i've had the idea of reviving an older story, and was in the process of drawing the main character. Well, at long last, here she is: sweet little Timidy, in the, err... graphite =3.
Now, i've drawn her as a chibi here, but she is also only 11 years old, so I suppose she could be passed off just as an 11 year old kid here... with lots of anatomical errors.
Timidy (tim IH dee), or, plain and simply, T (tee) for short (not Tim or Timmy), was created by me when I was around the same age as she is, maybe a bit younger even, along with numerous other characters involved in her story. I kept up with her till I was around 14, but by then Vixen had come along and, kind of... took over? (Ha, i'd make a great mum me, wouldn't I ).
Simply put, I lost interest in T's story, not only that but I had so much trouble getting her to look right on paper I just gave up trying. But even though I dismissed the idea, I kept going back to it, hoping that I might successfully bring her into a physical form one day.
And here we are now . Alot has changed in her design since I first made her. For the longest period of time she had a very much similar appearance to Vixen, only with a slightly different hairstyle and different eye colours, then before that she was basically a human girl with fox ears and a tail (some might call a "kitsune", but I didn't know what one of those was at the time), and even BEFORE that she was a completely different animal, a lion infact! (Or, lioness, but you get what I mean). Because, at the time, lions were my favourite animals, not foxes.
Now this is where she is, and I assure you the only similarity between T and Vix, is that they're both foxes. Thats it. Infact, T is MORE of a fox, since she doesn't have vampire blood in her like her older "sister" (they're not actually related). Timidy is a hybrid between a red fox, and an arctic fox, and this will be made more apparant when I come to colouring her.
Another aspect of her appearance that was scrapped, was that she had a metal (or robotic) leg. Coincidently (or not) it was around the time I had gotten into Fullmetal Alchemist that I added that feature. Oh dear... So, yeah, that had to go. In replacement of that though, is the thing she has on her leg now.
... No, I don't know what it is... but I like it anyways.
One feature that hasn't changed though, is her outfit. At the time of creation, I was OBSESSED with dungarees (though I didn't actually have any of my own), so as a result ALL (or nearly all) my characters wore dungarees. Of course, now my mental wardrobe has expanded (khaki t-shirts and blue jeans, ha ha, shut up) so not all my characters wear dungarees anymore, but I decided to keep T wearing dungarees, both for nostalgic reasons, and also because dungarees are still my favourite garment of clothing, even though I seldom wear them myself X).

Anyways, enough garble, your all probably wanting to know, who the Hell she is so i'll crack on with that. Some of the story here i've altered from how it originally was, but it's basically the same stuff just a bit better thought out.

*Ahem*

Like I said, her name is Timidy, she's 11 years old and she is a red fox-arctic fox ortine hybrid. She was brought up by her mum and dad in a mixed race community (humans, elves, other ortines, etc), but the people around her seemed to have the impression she was somehow "different" from everybody else, and her peers at school found this as an opportunity to pick on her, and call her names like "demon", all with an unexplained reason to her.
She then discovered that she really was different from everyone else, when she entered a strange forest and drew a sword which was housed there. She then re-awakened later in an unfamililar place, where she met an older, raccoon ortine boy name Izaak, who explained to her that her body housed an increadible power; the element of fire, however because of this a wicked man named Ulric attacked her home village, killing the majority of it's residents, including her blood parents, in attempt to snatch the power for himself while she was still a baby. The baby Timidy was hidden from Ulric, and taken far away to become the daughter of the parents she grew up with, in order to protect her from Ulric until she was old enough to defend herself if he should try to steal her power again (which, of course, he would).
Izaak then told her that he was given the task, by her blood parents, to be her Gaurdian, and that he was affilated with the element of water in order to do so.

Thats the basic gist of things I guess, theres more but I don't want to ramble on too much. As you can see, the story is slightly cliche in places, but remember that I was only around 11 myself when I came up with the idea, and even now I do still like the idea dispite it being a little cliche. Of course, there are a few alterations in the story from what it had been, but it's mostly that same stuff.

As for her personality and such, T is a very active and adventurous girl, and very rarely is seen without a smile on her face. Dispite her adorable looks, as I said before she has increadible strength stored within her, however she doesn't yet know how to use it to it's true strength. Even so, the power she can use is certianly nothing to be sniffed at, she just needs a little more experiance is all so she can use it to it's full potential. As well as affecting her elemental strength (being able to cast fireballs and such), it also affects her physical strength. It was often her display of physical strength which got her into bother with the people back home, as she's so strong she'd beable to lift something 30 times the size of her, with increadible ease; as if she were lifting a bag of suger. She often doesn't realise her own strength though. She's also very speedy, she'd give Sonic a run for his money, however she lacks in stamina, and will ware out pretty quickly if pushed too far.
Lack of experience and lack of stamina are all down to her age, but as the story progresses she'll gradually get stronger and fitter as time goes by, but not often does she actually realise this.

Eh, i'd say more, but i'm pretty tired right now, and I think i've written enough to be going on with. I'll explain more when I get the coloured picture up, and i'll probably criticise myself to death when I do too X).
